Hello everyone,
I’m writing this post at nearly 12pm midnight, sitting on my bed with candles all around my place (yes, I’m a tiny bit addicted 🙂 ), the window wide open, soaking in the fresh winter air.
I love this feeling before going to bed! Makes my mind feel clear and my heartbeat calm down so that I can fall asleep more settled and calmer.
Today was a fun day because I met one of the most important persons in my life again after 4 weeks or longer, and I really missed my little cutie pie. We grabbed some wintery scented coffee (guess where?! 😀 ) and (as you can imagine) after more than a month without seeing each other- it was about time for some serious girls talk!
We talked about all the things that happened in our lives the past few weeks and laughed a lot! Much needed quality time! ❤
Overthinking…
So we ended up talking about “overthinking”. I guess many of us tend to overthink because we want to make everything right without harming someone. But you know what? You can’t be perfect for everyone and the ones that really matter in your life love you just the way you are. If that’s the case you don’t have to run after them! Neither in friendships or while dating someone / in a relationship.
You’re wonderful just the way you are and there is no reason to think you’re not good enough for somebody else.
We’re not made for being friends with everyone because every single person is different in their personality, their point of view, their passions and focus in life. Are you an over thinker? Especially when it comes to dating someone and keeping the contact in a constant way? Is it a woman thing or are there men also overthinking reactions (or non reactions) of others?
We planned to take some pictures because there is no better way to remember beautiful moments and for some outfit posts but… mr. rain and mr. storm teamed up together to let us look like little poodles with messy hair – pretty much NOT picture ready. haha. So we just snapped some silly pics while goofing’ around in “&other stories” (one of my favorite stores!), before my phone battery gave up – perfect day when it comes to technic! We ended our afternoon with a stroll at one of the christmas markets and it was beyond beautiful! All the beautiful christmas trees, lights and christmas scents. Love this time of year! When everything seems to be so lovely and warm, trees become bright and shiny and dreams come true…
